Meal Bag Packing

Distributing nearly 2000 meal bags each week is hard work, and we couldn’t do it without our volunteers!
Attendees will assist with producing and packing our weekend meal bags for distribution. Meal Bag packings typically last about 90-120 minutes and is similar to taking a trip to the grocery store. Volunteers will be asked to load bags with a predetermined menu of shelf-stable food items. The finished bags are collected and distributed on Thursdays and Fridays by volunteer delivery drivers.
This is a medium impact activity, some walking and repetitive light lifting (10lbs) is required.
