Weekend Backpacks’ Tailgate honoring the Ravens Foundation and 30 years of the Baltimore Ravens

The football season may be over but we all know that Hunger Doesn’t take the Weekend Off!

Weekend Backpacks is thrilled to honor the Ravens Foundation at this year’s annual fundraising gala. We’re trading in our Chopped-style aprons and chef’s hats for helmets and pads as we gear up to take on hunger with the Ravens. Join with us as we “move those chains” and get closer to our goal of a world where every child is nourished and ready to learn!

We’ll be teaming up with Poe, the Ravens Cheerleaders, and Ravens Legends Qadry Ismail and Femi Ayanbadejo to celebrate the impact that Weekend Backpacks’ partnership with the Ravens Foundation has had on Charm City. Local restaurateurs will be on site dishing out tailgate-themed favorites for our guests.

We can’t wait to see you there in your favorite Ravens and Weekend Backpacks gear!

Official Media Partner

Weekend Backpacks is excited to announce this year’s Master of Ceremonies, Pete Gilbert. Pete is a member of WBAL’s Ravens Broadcast team, providing pre and post-game coverage for preseason Ravens games.

Pete was named Maryland Sportscaster of the Year in 2011, 2016, and 2019 by the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association. We are thrilled to have him on our team for End Zone Eats.

Additionally, we would like to extend our appreciation to WBAL-TV 11 and its radio affiliates for serving as the official media sponsor of Weekend Backpacks Baltimore.

Interested in sponsoring End Zone Eats?

End Zone Eats is Weekend Backpacks’ most important fundraiser of the year. On average, it takes $18,000 to fund one partner school for the full 40-week school year. Last year, the event raised more than $190,000, enough to fully fund 10 schools!

This year, our goal is to fully fund 25 schools. With your support, we can make that happen.

Each sponsor receives complimentary tickets, recognition on our website and social media, and acknowledgment during the event program. Join us in the huddle!
