Weekend Backpacks Baltimore believes that supporting Baltimore’s students doesn’t stop with a meal bag. We want every child to know that their community wants to see them succeed!
Hats and Gloves
Winter brings a chill on the air, and no child should have to wait for the bus with chilly hands! Each fall we collect new child-sized hats and gloves to distribute to our partner schools. You can contribute to this project directly by bringing items to our facility for drop off, Tuesdays-Thursday between 10 am and 3 pm. Look for the collection box!
If you’d prefer to skip the drive, consider donating by purchasing hats and gloves from our Amazon wish list for delivery!
Parent Appreciation
In the springtime, we work to find a donor willing to support a small gift for our kids to bring home to their caregivers, usually some toiletries and a customizable card. Summer Enrichment
Before kids head off for the summer, we like to send them home with some educational toys and treats to start the summer off in style.
